Being mediocre costs money because average doesn’t stand out. If we do mediocre work, why would anyone seek us out? It’s mediocrity – the failure to create a strong brand niche when you could have, and you should have – that is so very expensive. Brand is reputation. And a mediocre reputation is very, very costly. Looking the same as your competition is mediocrity. It means that you’ve used the same message and the same marketing techniques and your results are unexceptional
Decision Fatigue in a Saturated World
I sometimes get distracted easily. My husband calls this “playing air guitar”. Say I’m typing an email at the same time he’s telling me something important, chances are one task gets more attention. Which means I am “playing air guitar” to one of the tasks. My email might not make any sense or I may have to ask Tony to repeat what he told me. Either outcome results in lost productivity. In many ways, we’re becoming wired for distraction. With the use of smart phones and socia
